October Team Update

Kendrick Castillo Memorial Tournament

Our team attended our first ever off-season FRC competition event. Hosted by East High School in Denver, this is the second year the event has taken place. It was a great opportunity for our team members to get some realistic practice competing.

Our robot took its fair share of bumps and bruises, and overall we lost more than we won; however, I’m incredibly proud of how our team performed.

Upcoming Meetings

We’re beginning to have regular Thursday evening meetings at the Solid State Depot. Upcoming meetings are:

To stay up to date with our meeting schedule, you can access our Google Calendar here. Or check the calendar widget on our front page.

Information Night!

Information night is November 21st! This is the best opportunity to learn about the Black Knights and what the 2020 FRC season is going to look like. All current and interested team members to expected to attend. If you will be unable to make it to information night please contact me, and we can make alternative arrangements.

Volunteers for Boulder Lego League Qualifier

Manhattan Middle School has asked the Black Knights to help co-host the 2019 Boulder FLL Qualifier. We need volunteers who can help make this event possible including: refs, judges, setup, tear down, and crowd control. We’re also specifically looking for people willing to DJ and sing the national anthem. If you are able to volunteer you can register here, or contact me or Darcy Fan (the volunteer coordinator for more info).

I’m going to try to keep these team updates happening regularly, feedback is appreciated.
